Mark Ellis is a Canadian actor, comedian, writer, and producer. He was born on June 16, 1982, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He is best known for his work as a co-host of the popular YouTube movie review show, "Schmoes Know," which he co-founded in 2008 with co-host Kristian Harloff. He also co-created and starred in the web series "The Shelf," which aired on Comedy Central.
Ellis has appeared in several films, including "The Late Bloomer," "Table 19," and "The Dwarvenaut," and has made guest appearances on TV shows such as "Key and Peele," "Justified," and "Escape the Night." He also co-hosts the Schmoedown, a movie trivia competition show on YouTube.
In addition to his acting work, Ellis is also a stand-up comedian and tours regularly. He has released several comedy albums, including "Get to the Castle" and "Dog Stepfather." He also co-wrote the book "All the Pieces Matter: The Inside Story of The Wire."
